Psychotherapy

Making the decision to start psychotherapy is the first step toward health and well-being. Psychotherapy will help you learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills. It is your knowledge of yourself and a commitment to therapy
that will lead to change.

We offer a safe, open, warm and caring environment. It is important to feel comfortable, be an active participant and share in the decision-making regarding your treatment. We incorporate a multi-faceted approach in my clinical practice exploring the interplay between behavioral, psychological, physical, spiritual, cultural and social factors. We offer therapy for adolescents 12 and up who suffer from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, grief/loss, life transitions, stress, anger and relationship difficulties. We also offer evidence-based practices through CBT and DBT.

The therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is very important. Feeling comfortable and secure with your therapist permits honesty and openness to govern therapy sessions and broadens the therapeutic journey. This is the reason we offer up to 30 minutes of free phone consultation.
